White cabbage (raw) -1 kilo, 1 raw medium turnip, 1 big carrot, 2 sour apples, 1 mild pepper, celery leafs, 1 bundle of green dill, 1 bundle of green parsley, juice from one lemon, 3 spoons of olive oil, salt and pepper according to taste
The cabbage must be unbind in leafs, washed and cut in thin slices, salted, and left for an hour. The turnip, the carrot, the washed and peeled apples are cut through the grate with big dents. The mild pepper, washed and cleaned of seeds, has to be cut in thin slices. The celery, dill and parsley leafs have to be washed and cut small. The cabbage drained of water is set in a bowl, and the following are added: the apples drained of juice, the carrot, the turnip, the greens, the lemon juice, the oil. The composition is mixed and fit with salt and pepper according to taste.
